  • I suppose this imagery may be disturbing to some. I assure you that my ownership is legal where I live, and in fact, I'm authorized to carry concealed. No hidden messages here, just sort of enjoyed how the light reflected off the metal. Two different light source temperatures made for some interesting colors on an essentially flat black surface.

  • The new camera bag/backpack came today! A Kata HB-207. Very nice well made pack, with lots of storage space. I love the yellow interior, helps you find things easier. Very comfortable on the back as well. It actually will hold a laptop as well in a pocket underneath this storage area.

  • Any shelter will do for bunnies I guess. He seems happy enough with fresh green grass at his nose and a decent bush to crouch under. For all the wintery look, it's not terribly cold, as the snow is mostly melting. This is our first official spring snowstorm, but it looks like it's not going to be much of one, as it's moving out fast. We need more moisture, I hope it rains some over the next few weeks.

  • I didn't have my tripod with me today, but tried anyway to get some blurred water effects. Not bad for 1/20 sec. handheld. I would have preferred my tripod though.

  • 'What is that?" you might ask. An excellent question. That is a bit of Ireland. It's peat incense, a gift from some friends of mine that I haven't seen in some time, and my house now smells wonderful, like being in Ireland, which I miss and want to go back to soon.

  • This was my first attempt at this, and I was hoping to catch some actual drops (well, I did, but I wanted them in focus, etc...) but this was probably the best out of the bunch. Not as easy as it looks, and I think I need to do more of this. I learned a few things on this one, so maybe next time I'll get more of what I want.
