The old standby for cloudy day shooting. Black and White. This worked out pretty well, it sort of came out looking like a very old photo of Colorado.

This is always a bad thing on a military convoy...a traffic jam. It's basically like shooting fish in a barrel, with us being the fish. Fortunately it cleared and we got on our way.
