The pilot of this balloon was quite the character, and a great sport. Also a great ambassador for the sport of ballooning.

The pilot of this particular balloon invited us inside to shoot. Quite a privilege, for which we were very appreciative.
Maybe it's just me, but those cables don't look nearly big enough.
This is not an HDR however. But I loved the light against the dark skies.
I actually did an HDR. Well, sometimes you have to.
