From my recent trip to Uganda..all taken with a Nikon V1, most of them with a 70-300 using the FT-1 adaptor. A great combination.

Love these Impalas...very graceful looking.
Given enough time, I may get used to seeing elephants roaming wild, but I hope not. :-)
Still trying to find out what this is... but it looks like a Star Wars alien.  UPDATE:  I am told this is called a Ugandan Kob.  Still very alien like.

Unknown bird on a lily pad.
This would be something I still can't believe I got this close to.  Black mamba.
The pink color along it's belly is actually the tiles reflecting off its white underside.  Deadly nonetheless.  There is of course a story to this.  Still wondering what I was thinking.
