Bio : I learned to first take photos on a Nikon FM (circa 1981?), a fully manual camera, no autofocus, no aperture priority, none of the black arts gadgetry that we are all so familiar with today. I cherish this early learning, and it comes in handy even using my trusty D3 with all its bells and whistles. I love the new technology despite my remark about black arts. I have been blessed to have travelled nearly all the way around the world, and hope to do more of it. We'll be posting more photos of the places I've been, and the places I hope to visit. I normally work as a paramedic in Colorado, but I am currently on deployment in Afghanistan. I hope to make photography into a living in the near future. Comments are welcome, as long as they are constructive of course! :-)

D3 Images : Images from the new D3 camera. OK yes, I am bragging a bit, but I am so enamored of this new camera. Not because it's a new camera, which is always fun, but because of its amazing performance, and image quality. I can't thank Nikon enough for finally producing the digital SLR I have been waiting for.

Your Bio

Hi all, and welcome to my photography page.

This will be a work in progress for some time, but feel free to order photos as you like and excuse the dust. I am currently on deployment in Afghanistan (again) and so improvements will be sporadic, as well as new photos. I hope to get some newer photos of this amazing country and get them up here for you all to see.

As this site grows, you will see more photos of places around the world I have been fortunate enough to visit, and hopefully, even more places that I have yet to visit.

Remember, when in doubt, shoot, shoot, and then shoot some more. Digital is cheaper than film you know :-)
